About Alyse
After attending music school at Ball State University, I returned to Northwest Indiana and worked in a small music studio in Chesterton, Indiana. During this time, I decided to attend cosmetology school on my off time and eventually work behind the chair in a favorite local salon. Years later, I decided to make my beauty dreams come to life. I’ve always been incredibly inspired by my family's legacy in the beauty industry. Because of this, I decided to open my own salon, honoring my grandmother and aunts who owned a New Buffalo salon in the 70's and 80's. My salon, Stella Beauty, carries the family name and is an homage to these special women that contributed to my love for all things beauty.

I love singing and playing the piano as well as attending wine education. I hope to be a sommelier when I retire from the beauty industry.
