About Jonathon
Grew up in Crown Point, IN. Was addicted to working since I was a kid. I enjoy getting people to achieve their goals. I just love good people. I love listening because everyone has a story. After High School I went to tech school and was accepted into the Audi program and then straight to Bentley. Trained in Europe at the Bentley Plant with their engineers. Love helping the community and have a passion to get people to see that people with disabilities don't need help, they just need a chance. To be seen and heard like the rest of us.
My career path started with Bentley and Rolls-Royce when I was 20. I was a Master Bentley and Rolls tech for 13 yrs. After climbing the mountain in the auto industry to the top, I wanted more. I wanted to start my own business. My wife and I sold everything we had and moved from Naples Florida back to the family farm to start a new adventure. We started a Coffee Company and other opportunities arisen. I bought out a reflective insulation company in TX and moved it to Crown Point. After 6 months my wife and I bought another reflective insulation company and merged them.
About Whitney
I am just a lady trying to be a killer mom, run some successful businesses, do good deeds and stay in great health all at the same time. I spent almost 10 years being a personal trainer helping others and myself achieve great things on health and fitness. I realized everything I had learned that helped me be successful in fitness translated to over to other areas. I evolved into a success coach to help people reach goals in all areas of their life including business. In 2019, my husband and I bought my grandfathers business (established in 1980) and we are using those same principles to lead a team of 50 employees and rebuild the business for a lifetime of achieving goals.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS
Our new business, Innovative Energy, Inc is a reflective insulation company that my grandpa started 40 years ago in our barn. Now, it is an international business with different divisions including insulated packaging, HVAC, and commercial building materials. Basically we make shiny bubble wrap that keeps things cool or warm. This is a bigger business than either of us have ever been leading, so this has been a huge year of personal growth as we work to increase profits, set new standards, and build a culture around our core values.

Love Racing. Hiking and the outdoors is where you will find me. Risk taker.

I like to drink coffee, get outdoors to hike or be active, or just hang out and do projects on the farm with my kiddos, our bulldog and our Scottish Highland.

When I quit Bentley and Rolls to start my own business after moving back to CP, I drove a school bus to get my family insurance. I secretly loved it. I have a complete new appreciation for that career and I loved the kids. Kids are hilarious. And I will never grow up. I bought a full Reindeer onesie costume and drove the bus during Christmas in it.

Hmm, I used to ride horses and was on the Purdue dance team. I am fairly artistic, and cut my own hair because I hate appointments. :)
WHY DO YOU ENJOY BEING A MEMBER OF THE COLLECTIVE?
We moved away for a long time, so I wanted to connect with other entrepreneurs in the area. Your circle is so important, especially when you have big goals. I love to pick up tips in the workshops and just love the opportunity to help others when I can.
