About Anna
I believe we thrive in the world when we take an active part in our health by practicing self-care. When we practice caring for ourselves, we are signaling to others that we have the self-determination and the capacity to change and grow. I also believe that healing in community is vital for all of us, although the internet offers a lot of resources, there is nothing that can replace human connection. My practice is rooted in ancient traditions of health care and scientifically proven techniques. I offer a pathway for people to facilitate their own healing, experience rejuvenation, and break free from stagnant patterns. My intention in each session is to be present to witness the whole body - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am trained in Myofascial Release and Massage Therapy as well as Yoga, Breath Work and Meditation. I offer a trauma informed angle to all classes, individual and/or group sessions I facilitate. I also have a special place in my heart for non profits, community led organizations and any kind of recovery work. I also hold a certificate in Yoga for 12 Step Recovery and teach at a local recovery center. I believe a community centered in healing is the first step to a healing world.
