Creative Nature Flower Farm is run by Ali with help from her husband Jakab and two children and was created to bring the beauty and creativity of a farm to those in the area who don't have access to it. She has loved growing flowers since she was young, helping her mother in the garden. From there she went to Valparaiso University and graduated with a degree in Geography knowing she wanted to work outside in nature. Ali then worked at the IN Dunes National Lakeshore and Native Roots Farm. She learned how to run a small farm, grow a variety of vegetables, flowers, and mushrooms. She was able to work with homeschool groups, as well as, preschool groups that came out for farm visits. She has extensive experience at Farmer's Markets and working with the community.

Other areas of interest for Ali are Figure Skating (she was a competitive skater)...she now directs the Learn to Skate program at the Central Park Plaza Ice Rink in Valpo and teaches lessons there every winter. She has taught skating lessons, both group and private, for the past 6 years and has experience working with kids ages 3-18. She also completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 and has been teaching yoga ever since. She loves to learn new skills and share them with others.
